Are all the classes hot?
All of the classes at our Waukee and Ankeny location are HOT.  The temperatures will range from 95 – 104 degrees.  Humidity will run anywhere from 30 – 60%.  The more people the hotter the temperature and higher humidity! 
Classes at our WDM cycle studio are NOT heated.  You WILL sweat!

Are the classes beginner friendly?
Yes, all our classes are multi-level.  Depending on the teacher some classes will be more intense than others.  If you have any physical limitations please let your instructor know.

What should I bring to class?
If you have a yoga mat we highly recommend that you have your own for sanitary reasons. We do rent mats for $1.00/use.  We also recommend you have a towel, such as a beach towel, to put on top of the mat.  We do rent mat towels for $2.00/use.  Make sure you are well hydrated before class and during –  please bring in a bottle of water.  We encourage you to bring a hand towel or sweat towel as well as they are not provided at the studio.
We do sell mats and mat towels.

What do I wear/bring to class?
Wear what you usually would for any yoga or exercise class: capris or tights (short or long); cami-tank or sport bra.  T-shirts don’t work real well unless you tuck them in.  Men can wear shorts or tights, shirts or not in yoga class is fine.  We do not recommend long sleeves.  We will use a mat in all classes including barre and the cycle combo classes.  Bring a sweat towel, mat towel and water.

Do you have showers?
Yes, we have showers at our Waukee and Ankeny location.  We do not have a shower at the WDM cycle studio. 

Do I need to sign up beforehand?
Yes! Create an account on the mind/body site on your computer, or download the app on your phone.  Select the sign-up now button next to the class to create an account and pre-register for a class. If you have an account you will sign in and sign up for your classes.  You may sign up for classes as far out as your current membership expires. Occasionally we can take drop-ins, but we highly encourage you to sign up online beforehand to guarantee a spot in class. If you are unable to make your scheduled class, please sign in to your account and CANCEL your reservation up to 1 hour prior to class or your account will be charged for that class.  Once you've created your account on our mind/body site download the mind/body app on your phone to make signing up for classes that much easier and faster!
PLEASE NOTE:  We have a limited number of bikes at our cycle studio.  You MUST cancel out of class an hour before or the night before for early morning classes - or you will be charged for the class.  Unlimited memberships will be charged $10 for NO-SHOWS. 

How soon before class should I arrive?
Arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class.  If you are new, please arrive 20 minutes prior to meet the instructor and get oriented to the studio.  The doors to the studio will lock 5 minutes prior to the start of class, and we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals.  Some classes fill up quickly; make sure you arrive early to get a spot. 

What hours are you open?
We do not have regular staff hours,  our instructors arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to class start time.
