Why you should keep your H🔥T Yoga and Fitness practice - even throughout the summer 🌞

Summer tends to be the time of year when we fade out of our daily routine - and relax on our fitness. If you are a hot yoga practitioner, you may feel compelled to “take a break” with the increasing temps outdoors. But - here are several reasons why you should keep that HOT YOGA practice going …

  1. Keeps your Body Health and Maintains your Practice

    Don’t kid yourself, you’re going to be outdoors. What better way to stay acclimated to the heat? You are likely to be taking a tropical vacation, or (dare I say) “dreaded” amusement park vacations, hours upon hours in the sun and heat … 😒. Keep your hot yoga routine going and you’ll have more energy than you’ll know what to do with! Everyone will ask you what your secret is! 😊

  2. Encourages you to drink more water

    You should be consuming 8-10 glasses of water a day (minimum), and up to a minimum of 12-15 glasses during the summer months. If you continue the practice of staying hydrated during your hot yoga practice, you are more likely to stay hydrated outside of the studio.

  3. Your body will stay acclimated to the higher temps

    There’s nothing worse than getting ready for a night out in a dry, cool environment at home and then you step outside and the excessive sweating begins, and your face make-up literally melts off your face 🫠. Of course, keeping your body acclimated to the hotter conditions will keep your sensitivity to the excessive heat and your body’s reaction will soften. You will be less sensitive to the fluctuations in temperature - stepping in and out of the heat.
